Catherine Rondeau,

Thank you for your comment. Would you elaborate on your comment. It is a little cryptic for people to understand what you are trying to convey.

The healer diagnosed me correctly from a distance. The procedure was sudden, intense nearly brutal, and frightening. I was black and blue but without pain unlike other bruising the following day. My symptomology cleared quickly and, one year later is still very much improved. What I experienced is clearly centuries old medicine at the hands of a gifted and caring healer.

I was aware that some exercises in more common qigong practices involve slapping especially the kidneys. I am surprised to learn that there is an entire field in it !!!! Thank you for putting the information out there !

I always learn something from reading your website.
I’m sure doctors in the US and europe have heard about these therapies. The problem with Western medicine is its emphasis on drugs; the pharmaceutical industry is the driving force behind this; but also Americans are always looking for a ‘quick fix’ even though it could lead to other problems. Because all drugs have side-effects which have to be cured by more drugs, etc.
