I know slowly but surely you will be alright. Even if you have to drag your left foot. To God be the glory. After my stroke in 2010. I was walking with a walker. With my determination with home PT. I graduated to using a cane. With more hard work and pray. I was walking without my cane. I could not walk fast or run. My balance was off and at times I dragged my left foot. If someone stopped quickly in front of me when I was walking. I could not stop as fast or I would lose my balance and fall. Due to my stroke my left leg was weak and gave out on me at any given time. And my left arm shakes. I joined your Tai Chi class when it was offered in Monmouth County at the Living well Center. I shared some of my story with you about my journey after my stroke. You encourage me that I can do Tai. And it would help with my balance. And it has. Thank you for your kind words.

My husband, with Pt, was able to correct his dropped foot and many other issues, but it gets harder as he ages

I have found that gratitude helps one’s spirit to stay positive. Things will never be as they were but improvements need to be celebrated. Congratulations! Diane

Glad to hear that you are recovering well and now you are redoing PT to enhance your physical strength. I think it’s a good idea to always maintain one’s exercise regimen regardless.
I picked up an exercise called 平甩功 (go check up on Web, an exercise found by a Taiwanese guru) two years ago and found it works very well for me. Simply just keeping your blood circulation thru out your entire body.

Anyway, hope you will continue to improve your health.
