Matt,

I didn’t see you comment until today, even though you wrote it on 9/18/2023. Apparently the system didn’t do its job to automatically forward comments to me.

Thanks.

Don

Too bad people don’t know more about it as a martial art and its great potential in realistic self-defense. Using a persons momentum and weight to defeat them. Redirecting and taking control of your opponents strength.
the Movie “Tai Chi Master” with Jacky Wu was a really great display of Tai Chi kung fu. I have a cult following in that movie.
I am studying the popular Short 24 posture yang Tai Chi set out of a comprehensive book. I have a few other books on the subject including Paul Comptons “The Tai Chi Workbook” and the invaluable book “Tai Chi Classics”
by Waysun Liao. It discusses an important practice called condensing breathing which intensfies or refines your chi energy.
I think its a very good possibility Chen Tai Chi Chaun will be my combat Tai Chi-Fist style in the future!!!

Yeung have soft /hard and slow/fast movements, also “if one part of the body moves, the whole body moves” !
